Aston Villa and Aston Villa FC have joined Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool in the race to secure the Premier League’s top trophy.
Villa, who have only won one trophy, are in contention to clinch a top-four finish after finishing seventh last season.
Arsenal are yet to win a league title since 2002 and will face Liverpool in a crucial game on Saturday at Anfield.
The Premier League has also seen a number of big names join the fray for the Champions League.
The Gunners and Liverpool are both in the Champions Leagues and have the most points in the competition at 20.
The Championship’s three top teams, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham, are all aiming for the title, while the Europa League’s leaders, Barcelona, are aiming for a sixth straight title.
Liverpool, who finished sixth last season, are on the brink of winning the title for the first time since 2006, when they lost the Premier Player of the Year award to Southampton.
They are aiming to add to their trophy haul with a fifth title in seven years.
Manchester United are set to be crowned champions of the Premier league this season after winning the Europa Leagues for the third time in a row.
