PHILADELPHIA — Paintball rifle company Paintball Rhino will open its first paintball rifle range in Philadelphia, the company announced Wednesday.
The Paintball Company is one of two paintball manufacturers in the state.
Pierce Brothers Paintball Range will open in the new space at 1719 North Main Street in Northeast Philadelphia, which is part of a mixed-use project to redevelop the former headquarters of the former Pennsylvania Railroad.
“We are extremely excited to be bringing Paintball to Philadelphia,” said Doug Pierce, chairman and CEO of Pierce Brothers Paintballs.
“We look forward to expanding our footprint and working with our partner, City of Philadelphia, to build a premier paintball shooting and shooting range.”
Pierce Bros. Paintball was founded in 1997 and is a subsidiary of Pierce Bros. Ammunition.
The company has been operating out of a building at 8th and Main Streets since 2004.
Pierce brothers paintball range is set to open in Philadelphia in May 2019.
